Spring Celebration Collage: Spiritual Artmaking Class

• Spring has arrived. At the Spring Equinox, the sun hovers directly over the equator, creating a day and night that that are equal in time to each other.
• Spring Equinox is more than a celestial event; it’s a reminder of the natural rhythms that govern life on Earth. It’s a time to embrace renewal and balance and what is new and fresh. We can’t help but feel energized in the Spring.
• Give yourself to the natural rhythms of this time, receive the support that the Earth is offering you to begin anew, start a new project, proclaim a new beginning.
• During this event, join others as we connect with the energy of spring and then honor our intention of renewal and creation by collaging our intention, allowing our collage to be an anchor for what we are “beginning” in Spring.

Workshop Structure

• We will begin our time together exploring the energy of Spring. You will have an opportunity to contribute to this discussion and we’ll take a few minutes with a closed eye-process for a deeper connection to what is happening on the earth at this time.
• Then we will move into the collage portion of the event. You will receive guidance and any collage support that you desire. You are invited to allow your intuition and your connection to this earth rhythm to help you create. This is often referred to as “artmaking as spiritual practice.”
• We will then wrap up with a collective sharing (your choice,) about the process and perhaps the outcome of your collage.

• Engaging in earth energies is refreshing and restorative and you have an opportunity to meet support for your life that maybe you haven’t been aware of before
• This event is designed to support you in paying tribute to Spring or identifying and getting excited about a new beginning, a new project, renewal and balance.
• Collaging is fun. Collaging can also put you in touch with your intuition and that’s really fun.

About Your Facilitator/Host:

Mary Jo Honiotes has been involved in the study and the teaching of mindfulness for

30+ years. Her passion is teaching and holding space for indivduals and groups to

develop self-awareness and a curiosity about living their best life. She is dedicated to

creating spaces and experiences where people experience what is common among

us. Incorporating artmaking into her programs amplifies what is being offered, it is

multisensory learning at its best. She is a master facilitator and has been in private

study of Earth Wisdom for 20+ years. She has an M.A. in Consciousness Studies and

holds a ministerial degree with Centers for Spiritual Living.

Please Arrive 15- 20 minutes early to find parking, grab an apron, and settle into your seat.

Ticket Info

All ticket holders must be 18+ years. You may bring outside food or drink but it is at our discretion. No drinks without lids. A class must have 10 people signed up otherwise classes can warrant a cancellation by RemainReal. In the event of a cancellation, RemainReal will be in contact with signed up students before the scheduled time. Refunds for a class will only be given in the event of a cancellation by our team and only our team. Credits will be given to be used towards future classes only in the event of a student cancellation that is no more than 4 hours before the scheduled time of the class. Credits will not be issued for No Shows or student cancellations past the required 4 hour notice.
