🐑 Spring Buckle Series – Trial 2 🐑📅 May 29–31, 2026
📍 On The Lamb Herding – Gaffney, SC
This is our second (and final) weekend of the Spring Buckle Series — and where we’ll be crowning our buckle winners 👀
At the end of this trial, we’ll be awarding buckles to the dogs with the highest combined scores from BOTH trials:
• Started
• Intermediate
• Advanced
If you ran in Trial 1, you’re already in it.
If not, you’re still more than welcome to come run with us and enter the Race For The Buckles now! — it’s going to be a great weekend either way.
This is an AKC all-breed herding trial, open to AKC registered herding breeds.
Trial premiums can be found on the AKC events website, or I’m happy to email one over if you need it 👍
We’ll also have our Veterans Class again for dogs 10+ years old ❤️
• Run on the Started A Course (sheep)
• Non-regular class (no titles)
• Special placement ribbons awarded
We love getting to see our older dogs back out there doing what they know 🐑
The rest of the weekend will include:
• High In Trial (HIT) each day
• Custom HIT keychains
• Sheep & ducks
• All A & B course levels + HT/PT
• And yes… we’ll feed you 🍽️
