Join Goose Island and the Corpus Christi Astronomical Society for a night under the stars!We will have telescopes provided by the Corpus Christi Astronomical Society set up to help you view the night sky as well as a tour of constellations led by Texas Master Naturalist, Chuck Blend. Keep your flashlights at home and bring a RED light instead. We'll have volunteers guiding you to park as we want headlights pointing AWAY from the telescopes. No registration required. This program is free with your park entrance permit.
If you are an astronomy enthusiast with your own telescope, please feel free to bring one with you! Please let us know if you plan on doing so by emailing [email protected] to plan accordingly.
What to bring: a comfortable chair or blanket, a RED flashlight, bug spray, binoculars, dress for the weather
Where to meet: Day Use Picnic Area
Cost: this program is free with your entrance permit ($5/adult or free with your park annual pass. Kids 12yrs and under get in free).
Pets: Please keep your pets at home for this program.
