Spring Break Family Tours at President Lincoln's Cottage

The Lincoln family typically came to the Cottage for the "hot season" beginning in April. They came to be together, away from the public eye. This Spring Break, we invite you and your family to the Cottage to spend time together.

Enjoy our Signature Cottage Tour aimed specifically at a younger audience. This tour is filled with lots of inquiry, discussion, and discovery.

Did You Know? Unlike many other historic house museums, your family can sit on the furniture, touch the walls, and lounge in Lincoln's parlor. We actually invite them to explore the space using (almost) all their senses!

Before or after the tour, we invite you into our crafting space to create a postcard for a future visitor and take one home yourself! Our grounds are also open for picnics and exploration through our Lincoln's Wild Home tour which will be offered at a discounted rate for all participating in this tour.

All ages are welcome and strollers can be stored in our Visitor Education Center during the tour.
