Get your hands dirty this Spring—in the best way! At New Song School of the Arts, young artists ages 7–12 will dive into the wonderful world of ceramics and pottery. In our Ceramics and Pottery Camps, students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay—from shaping and sculpting by hand to using a real pottery wheel to create their very own pieces.
Campers will also explore the magic of ceramic painting, adding vibrant color and personality to their creations before they’re fired in a professional kiln—just like real artists. This hands-on experience not only teaches technical skills but also sparks creativity, patience, and pride in seeing their finished work come to life.
