Join the Friends of the Whittemore Library for its spring book collection! Have books and other media that you're ready to pass on? Come to the Howard Whittemore Memorial Library Saturday, May 16 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to donate your gently used books.We accept:
* Gently used paperback and hardcover fiction and non-fiction.
* Gently used children's books for all ages.
* DVDs and Blu-rays.
* Video games.
We DO NOT accept:
* CDs, VHS tapes, or vinyl LPs.
* Encyclopedias.
* Text books, medical books, or reference books.
* Excessively worn or damaged books, particularly those with water damage, odor, mold, etc.
All items collected are used at our annual book sale, proceeds from which benefit the Howard Whittemore Memorial Library. Tax receipts available upon request. The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
