About this Event
Join the Southeastern Vermont Audubon Society and the Vermont Land Trust as we look for migrating songbirds on this VLT property along the Whetstone Brook. Whetstone Woods has been the site of targeted introduced invasive species management and habitat restoration work aimed at restoring the habitat quality of this former agricultural land. We expect to see and hear a variety of migrating bird species, including Louisiana Waterthrush, Blue-headed Vireo, Black and White Warbler and Black-throated Green Warbler, just to name a few. Suitable for all levels of birders, including beginners! Guides will have extra binoculars on hand for those without. Walking on flat surfaces and with a slight incline with a total walking distance of around 1 mile.
