Join us at the beautiful Yoga Garden Retreat for a day of learning, fun, and healing Earth connection practices. Pierre Blin - nature connection mentor, herbalist, wilderness survival expert - will lead us in a morning of earth-based practices and wanderings designed to help us connect positively to the Earth, each other, our bodies and our spirits.
We will learn about the birds, animals, plants, wild foods, wild medicines and other marvels of our corner of the Earth.
After a lunch featuring wild foods such as nettles, maple syrup and birch syrup, we will spend some time with willow, and choose a craft such as baskets, plates, whistles, animal figures, etc.
We'll round out the day with a special Aufguss sauna, led by Aufgussmeister Jade Coulombe - a Nordic ritual bringing fire, water, earth and air together, to bring peace and healing to our minds and bodies.
(Aufguss is a multi-sensory sauna ritual, where a skilled Aufgussmeister pours water and essential oils onto hot stones, creating fragrant steam and using towel movements to distribute the heat.)
