As winter slowly releases its grip, we gather at Ängsbacka to celebrate the ancient cycles of renewal, rebirth, and transformation. This Easter, you are warmly invited to a festival inspired by the timeless dance between light and dark, winter and spring, silence and sound.
🌱 Spring Awakening is a space to honor nature’s rhythms, both within and around us. Together, we release what no longer serves and open ourselves to new beginnings, vitality, and possibility.

🌗 Death & Rebirth | Darkness & Light 🌞
The arrival of spring marks fertility, growth, and the return of light. Through shared practices, movement, music, and ceremony, we attune to the elements and to one another. We journey through cycles of transformation, reconnecting with ourselves, the land, and the collective energy of the group.

Through yoga, dance, meditation, and embodied exploration, we explore the balance between letting go and beginning anew. Guided by the elements of earth, water, fire, and air, we invite stillness, flow, power, and movement to awaken within us. As the Earth awakens, so do we.

🌸 The Spring Journey 🌸
🟡 Thursday
Our journey begins with welcoming workshops, a nourishing dinner, and a beautiful Opening Ceremony. We meet the musicians, workshop leaders, and our sharing groups.
Afterwards, choose between free dance in the Upper Barn 💃, relaxed connection in the café ☕, or silent sitting in stillness 🕯️.
🟢 Friday
A full day of yoga, dance, movement, talks, and workshops indoors and outdoors.
In the evening, we gather for offerings such as a magical concert 🎶, an organic dance journey, and Ängsbacka’s beloved Open Stage 🎤.
🔵 Saturday
After the Morning Meeting, we enter a full day of silence 🤍.
This quiet space invites deep presence, reflection, and inner listening. Often, this is where insights naturally arise.
🟣 Sunday
We break the silence with a powerful outdoor morning ceremony 🌄, opening into a full day of celebration and aliveness.
The evening culminates in a joyful, exuberant gathering where we come fully back into expression and connection ✨🎉.

On our final day, we come together once more to share reflections and close the festival with music, presence, and gratitude 🤲.

Each day, you can choose from a wide range of indoor and outdoor workshops including yoga, movement, dance, meditation, forest walks 🌲, and other inspiring practices.

Dance at Spring Awakening is meditation, expression, ecstasy, and gentleness all at once. From dynamic and playful to slow and subtle, these journeys invite you to listen to your body, release tension, and move with freedom. Expect beautiful music and rhythms that speak directly to the soul 🎶.

We offer a rich variety of yoga styles suitable for all levels. Our experienced teachers guide you toward presence, awareness, and connection through breath and movement.
