Join Footlights Rep for auditions for Spring Awakening. We are looking for a dynamic and diverse cast 18+ for this show. Due to the content of the show, no one under 18 will be cast.
Auditions will consist of singing, movement, and cold reading from the script
We are asking for the following to be prepared:
Melchior: All that’s Known/ Mirror Blue Night
Moritz: And Then There Were None/
Hanschen : Word of Your Body (reprise)
Ernst: Word of Your Body (Reprise)
Georg: Touch Me (solo)
Otto: Bitch of Living (solo)
Wendla: Mama Who Bore Me
Ilse: The Dark I Know Well/ Purple Summer
Martha:The Dark I Know Well
Thea: Mama Who Bore Me (reprise)
Anna: Mama Who Bore Me (reprise)
Ensemble (female presenting): Mama Who Bore Me: (reprise)
Ensemble (male presenting): The Bitch of Living (chorus)
Please note: the male and female authority figures have been cast. All other roles available.
Rehearsals will be Sunday nights and one other night during the week.
