Spring '25 Ghost Tour

History: Located just off of Ogden's Historical 25th Street, stands one of Ogden's oldest buildings. Built in 1891 by Hodgson and McClenahan, a 5-story hotel stood named the Reed Hotel. This building was torn down and a new building was built in 1927 by purchaser Archie Bigelow, adding 11 stories; naming it The Bigelow. However, in 1933, hard times hit and the building was purchased by Marriner S. Eccles who renamed the building "The Ben Lomond Hotel". During these times, Ogden, UT was considered one of the rowdiest places in the west, especially with the prohibition and the city's many underground tunnels. The Ben Lomond Hotel served many guests up until 1970's when yet another recession began. The building stood empty until 1985, when the Radisson Hotel Corp bought the buiding and continued serving guests. However, today, the building is now an apartment building with the event venue next door. There is free parking on the main roads but also paid parking stalls found within walking distance from the venue.

The Good Stuff: Join us on Saturday, April 5th, as we investigate The Bigelow Event Venue (aka Old Ben Lomond Hotel). The first Investigation will be from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Second investigation will be from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. We will be investigating the lobby, ballroom, basement, service areas AND room 1102! This will be an event you will NOT want to miss. Space is limited and tickets MUST be purchased in advance. This is an 16+ older event. Tickets are $30/person.

The registration check-in will start at 6:15 PM and will be followed by a short presentation that includes information about the venue, a question-and-answer session, and a safety briefing. Our group will be led by experienced, psychic medium, Mykail Boling from That Ghostly Gal.

**We will be meeting outside the venue by the main doors off of 25th St. (North Side Entrance!)

**Please make sure to park on the street OR in appropriate designated spots. Parking at the Bigelow is designated for residents.

• Investigation participants MUST be at least 18 years old or at least 16 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian. All investigation participants (or the participant's parent or guardian) must sign a waiver.
• No alcohol or drug use is permitted at this event. Intoxicated participants will be asked to leave.
• We strive to create a fun investigation however we can’t control activity so we can’t guarantee any level of activity. It’s rare for an investigation not to have any activity.
