Registration is now open for in person classes for ASL 101, 102, and 104 with Hands On ASL!
Classes are being offered at the School of Disability Studies - Disability Space Labs at TMU, 99 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario.
ASL 101, 102, and 104 are being offered from April to June, 2026. For specific dates, see below.
All spaces are wheelchair accessible and have gender neutral washrooms.
Course Levels (all course levels below are Level 1 courses):
ASL 101 (no knowledge of ASL required! For beginners!)
Day and time: Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Start date: Wednesday April 15, 2026
End date: Wednesday June 17, 2026
ASL 102 (Prerequisite: You must have completed ASL 101 or equivalent to take ASL 102)
Day and time: Tuesdays 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Start date: Tuesday April 14, 2026
End date: Tuesday June 16, 2026
ASL 104 (Prerequisite: You must have completed ASL 103 or equivalent to take ASL 104)
Day and Time: Thursdays 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Start date: Thursday April 16, 2026
End date: Thursday June 18, 2026
*NEW* All courses are now 10 weeks and classes are 3 hours.

Payment options:
Full course fee: $275
Sliding Scale fees available: $125-275
E-transfers: Please send your e-transfer to [email protected].
Cheques: Make cheques payable to Hands On ASL! and bring to first class.
Cash: Please bring in envelope with your name and course level to first day of class.
Please note: If you need a receipt for your courses, please indicate on the registration form (click on Buy Tickets!) that you want a receipt and a receipt will be sent to you.
Registration Deadlines:
Registration and payment due by Friday, April 3rd, 2026.
Registration funds help pay instructors and help run the ASL classes. The ASL classes is run entirely on student funds. Thank you for your support!!
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Plans change — we get it! Refunds are available up to April 3rd. Once classes begin, we’re unable to offer refunds.
