Spring 2026 Art Crawl at Schmidt on West 7th

Art lovers -- Meet over 80 local artists at the Schmidt Artist Lofts, exhibiting and selling their original work. Every hall, gallery, and studio in the Brewhouse will be filled with painters, printers, potters, fiber artists, jewelers, illustrators, and more.

Get ready to CRAWL early -- Be one of the first 25 shoppers each day to spend over $100 in art at Schmidt Art Crawl, and you'll receive a FREE Schmidt tote bag designed by a favorite Schmidt resident! (See Front Desk for details.)

Join us in the center of the Atrium for the 45th Annual Congressional High School Art Competition for Minnesota's 4th District, sponsored by Betty McCollum's office.

Schmidt Artist Lofts -- Where Art Lives. In 2013, the historic Schmidt Brewery was transformed into artist living and workspaces. Over 200 artists reside at Schmidt, and many of the visual artists will be selling their work at Art Crawl. The building is only open to the public during our events.

There's always something brewing at Schmidt! We'll have coffee in the lobby and food trucks on our plaza to keep you fueled throughout the weekend. And don't forget to tag us @SchmidtArtists -- We love seeing Art Crawl through the eyes of our visitors' photos.

The Schmidt Art Crawl on West 7th is promoted in conjunction with the Saint Paul Art Collective's Art Crawl events throughout Saint Paul each April and October. Explore studios and galleries, meet artists, watch live demos, and discover original work across Saint Paul during 3 weekends in April. Times vary by venue.
