Spring 2025 Bluffdale CERT Training – Free for Bluffdale Residents!🚨 Be Ready. Be Trained. Be CERT Certified. 🚨
Emergencies can happen anytime—do you have the skills to protect yourself, your family, and your community? Join the Spring 2025 Bluffdale Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training and gain hands-on experience in disaster preparedness and emergency response. Class is for ages 16+
📅 Dates: Thursdays, April 10 – May 8, 2025
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

CERT training is designed to empower everyday citizens with life-saving skills so they can provide critical assistance in the event of an emergency—when first responders may be delayed. Through expert instruction and hands-on exercises, you'll learn:
✅ Disaster Preparedness – How to plan, respond, and recover from emergencies
🚑 Disaster Medical Care – Basic first aid and trauma response
🩸 Stop the Bleed – Essential techniques to control life-threatening bleeding
🧠 Disaster Psychology – Understanding stress and mental resilience
🔍 Search & Rescue – How to assist in locating and helping those in need
🔥 Fire Suppression – How to safely extinguish small fires
🚨 Final Skills Drill (May 8) – A simulated emergency to put your training to the test!
