Spray Paint Techniques for Beginners
Join us for a hands-on spray paint session for beginners. Your instructor will demonstrate the essentials of spray can art, from basic can control and layering to outlines and shading, before you work on your own piece with guidance along the way. A relaxed, friendly session suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to brush up on their technique. Please bring your own spray paint cans and a board to paint on.
Please bring your own spray paint cans in the colours you would like to work with - white plus a colour of your choice works well. Cans are available from Red Brick Gallery retail at £4.65 each, or 6 for £24. Boards to paint on and mats to catch overspray will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own board if you prefer. Wear old clothes and bring gloves if you like. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
