To celebrate World Space Week, we’re putting the spotlight on space.
Science and research into space makes a difference to our lives here on Earth. During this special one-day event, we’ll be exploring how North East scientists and engineers are using space technology to keep an eye on our wonderful planet and our astronauts!
Scientists from the universities of Newcastle, Northumbria, Durham and Teesside, plus some of the exciting companies working in the North East space sector, will be on hand to share their knowledge and passion, and answer questions.
All included in your science centre ticket. This event will run in addition to the usual exhibits and activities.
