Spotlight: Contemporary (Int/Adv) with Hadassah Levi

Class will begin with a guided warm-up focused on breath, alignment, strength, and fluidity, followed by guided grooves and improvisation to build rhythm, freedom, and personal expression. There will also be elements of modern dance incorporated. We’ll have moments to debrief and reflect as we progress. The class will conclude with either a contemporary combination that allows dancers to apply techniques while exploring artistry and storytelling through movement, or we’ll work to create a small movement piece together, blending choreography and improv so each dancer can bring their own artistry and story into an expressive sequence.

Meet our Instructor:

Hadassah is a dynamic Contemporary Fusion artist with a passion for grooves, exploration, and improvisation. A graduate of the intensive CLI Conservatory program, she trained across all styles under leading industry choreographers—including contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and more—while developing a unique voice rooted in fluidity, emotion, and raw expression.
She has also participated and danced in over ten dance films across multiple styles, some led by choreographers such as Chris Scott, Monica Felice Smith, and Martha Nichols (“Surf Rider”), while nurturing her own passion for creating original dance projects and solos.
Her classes blend structured choreography, expression, and guided movement exploration, encouraging dancers to move from a place of freedom and authenticity rather than perfection.
Grounded in musicality and care, Hadassah creates a space where dancers feel safe to explore, take risks, and reconnect with the joy of movement—emphasizing that everyone feels seen, valued, and appreciated.
