Performance "IN THE MOUNTAINS MY HEART"Based on the works of William Saroyan
While in America, among Armenian emigrants, the future writer Saroyan collected simple and uninvented stories about life-loving people who did not know how to adapt, cut off from their homeland.
These stories, which later became novels and short stories and glorified the Armenian writer born and raised in America, became the basis of the play “My Heart is in the Mountains.” Saroyan's bright characters and poignant plots, bitter irony and inexhaustible love of life, unique gentle humor and the belief that everything is surmountable - united in a new production of the Stas Namin Theater. And, of course, the creators tried to convey to the viewer the carefully preserved traditions and immortal spirit of the ancient nation - this spirit is eternal, it is passed on from generation to generation with great kindness and compassion.
The production included stories from the works “My Heart is in the Mountains”, “Human Comedy”, “My Name is Aram”.
The authors of the dramatization for the play “My Heart is in the Mountains” are S. Namin, Y. Grigorieva, V. Zudina.
