Sports Photography Workshop with Rock Town & Zamani!

Take your Sports photography to the next level with hosts Jaison Sterling & Zamani Feelings!

This full day course will include hands on training covering lighting setups, posing, camera settings, how to photograph various sports, and how to work with athletes! What you can expect to learn:

• Manual camera settings for action sports and sports portraits
• Proper use of multiple off-camera lights
• Lighting setups for multiple sports
• Continuous and Flash lighting
• Problem solving with pose requests
• Modifier choices
• In-camera, practical effects
• Color gels
• Camera settings for action sports
• Understanding lighting on fields and in arena
• Angles and perspectives
• Content "action, reaction, interaction"
• Importance of composition
• Workflow in post processing
• Backdrop lighting

Jaison & Zamani will cover separate topics throughout the day and you will receive instruction from both! Workshop will begin at 9am and conclude at 4:30-5pm.

What to bring:

Cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards.

Always a good idea to bring a backup camera!

You do not need to bring lights, modifiers or stands! We will have lighting setups provided!
