This advanced Sporting Clays Clinic is a challenging clay target shoot designed to simulate field shooting scenarios on a sporting clays course. Come work on your trap skills in this friendly and informative hands-on shooting clinic. Shooters will be given an advanced instruction training session before being presented with a variety of targets that duplicate the flight path of game birds, such as flushing, crossing, and other angling shots.
What to expect:
- Shooters will rotate through stations to accommodate all participants. All shooters will have the chance to shoot at a total of up to 50 clays each.
- To further challenge shooters, various sporting options will be available. There are even special “rabbit” targets that are thrown on end that skitter across the ground.
- Ammunition will be provided, both in 12-gauge and 20-gauge.
What to bring with you:
- Participants will need to provide their own shotgun, as well as eye and ear protection.
- Dress prepared for the weather, including appropriate footwear.

Note: This event is free, but participation is limited to the first 20 people ages 18 or older who register.
