An introduction to outdoor sport climbing. Topics that will be discussed include:
- outdoor etiquette
- gear info (quickdraws, belay devices, helmets, etc)
- inspecting fixed hardware
- hanging quickdraws
- clipping quickdraws
- using a stick clip
- managing the rope while leading
A unique opportunity to practice lead climbing in a safe and controlled setting!
