🎃 Drag, Fags, Witches, + Ghosts: Spooky Cambridge LGBTQ+ History Walking Tour

Presented by Queer History Boston in collaboration with The Cambridge KiOSK
Tour led by Peter Muise

Saturday, October 18, 2025

🕑 2:00 PM ET

📍 Meet at The Cambridge KiOSK (Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA)

Step into Cambridge’s queer past with a haunted twist! Queer History Boston’s special spooky-season walking tour, presented by Peter Muise, uncovers chilling and fabulous tales of drag performers, radical fags, witches, ghosts, and the many spirits (living and otherwise) who shaped LGBTQ+ life in Cambridge. From hidden gathering places to public celebrations, you’ll see Harvard Square and its streets through the lens of queer resilience, revelry, and resistance.

ℹ️ Details

The tour is approximately 1.5 miles with frequent stops.
Comfortable walking shoes recommended.
Dress for the weather — the tour will take place rain or shine.
Space is limited, so advance registration is required.

♿ Accessibility Info

The route follows city sidewalks and streets in Harvard Square, which are generally accessible for wheelchair users, though some areas may be uneven or crowded. Please contact us in advance with any specific accessibility needs so we can best support your participation.

🎟️ Your Ticket Makes a Difference

All optional ticket sales are donations supporting Queer History Boston’s mission to document, preserve, and share LGBTQ+ history in Boston and beyond. Thank you for helping us keep queer stories — ghostly and otherwise — alive. 🖤✨
