Liz Z Pardue is an award-winning storyteller, writer, and director from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. She has spent several decades collecting, preserving, and sharing this region's lore, and has recently become a very popular speaker and social media sensation. Three years ago, Liz founded Sisterhood of Spirits, a production company dedicated to “keeping NC weird” with local ghost tours, theatrical productions, and the Fuquay-Varina Ghosts, Legends, and Lore book series. In 2025, she won both the Linda Goodman New Voices Award and the People's Choice Award at the Stone Soup Storytelling Festival. So, on Monday, October 5th, at 11am, you definitely do not want to miss Liz’s visit to The Aspens to share a few of her favorite spooky stories (and maybe a bit of “granny magic!”)
