The Historical Society of Forest Park and the Forest Park Arts Alliance partner up with the library for a night of spooky tales at the Lehmann Mausoleum at the Forest Home Cemetery.
This program is for adults 18 and up.
In the event of poor weather conditions, the program will be moved to the Forest Park Public Library.
Parking Information:
Location: Behind the cemetery office at 863 Des Plaines Ave once full on the road up to the Haymarket Monument.
Guidance: Signs and volunteers will direct you to the Lehmann Mausoleum.
Safety: Once it’s dark, please walk on the road to avoid tripping on gravestones.
Event Details:
Don't forget to bring a flashlight, lawn chair, and blanket. The ground where we will be sitting is gravel.
Accessibility: The walk from the parking lot to the mausoleum may be a bit long for some. If you have any accessibility needs, please email us at [email protected] by 9 am on Thursday, August 22 so we can make the necessary accommodations.
