Learn the art of block printing and bring original *spooky* designs and drawings to life! Guided by Ali from Clover & Fox, in this class you’ll carve your own 4”x6” block to create a one of a kind print. Learn step-by-step the process of block printing- from transferring your design, carving the block with professional tools, inking the design and pulling a print by hand. Immerse yourself in this tactile and hands-on medium and expand your creative expression during this Halloween season.
All of the materials will be provided for you including:
Carving tools
4x6” block to carve
Ink and Brayers
Paper
Please come prepared with any designs or drawings you would like to create for your prints. Ideal images have bold shapes and lines for beginner prints, experienced printmakers can bring more detailed drawings. Reference images will also be provided for you to choose from.
