Spooktacular S.T.E.A.M. Fest is Back! 🎃
Put on your favorite costume and get ready to haunt the CMA like never before at Spooktacular S.T.E.A.M. Fest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 AM–2 PM!
This family-favorite event transforms the Children’s Museum of Acadiana into a day of spooky, hands-on learning. Follow the Candy Trail throughout the museum while exploring S.T.E.A.M. activities, mad labs, creepy crawly encounters, chilling performances, outdoor amusements, and plenty of surprises along the way.
What to Expect
A full day of educational fun with 15+ hands-on S.T.E.A.M. stations, 12+ exhibit spaces, and candy and treats along the way!
Mad Labs with spooky slime, experiments, and reactions
Creepy Crawly Encounters with Schoolhouse Safari
Giant Brain Spin Art with Brain Art Alliance
64-Foot S.T.E.A.M. Obstacle Course
Candy Trail with treats at every stop
Chilling Performances

General Admission: $14 (per person)
CMA Members: $7 (per person)
12 months and under: Free
