This free course is designed to explore spontaneous worship from three angles: biblically, musically, and practically.
Biblically: we will look at examples of spontaneous worship spanning nearly the whole Bible--from Exodus to Revelation.
Musically: we will provide foundational strategies for improvising on any instrument, as well as guiding principals for playing spontaneously on a worship team. Attendees will have opportunities to practice what they learn as a group.
Practically: we will discuss the why, when, and how pertaining to spontaneous worship. For example, can spontaneous worship be used effectively in both private and corporate settings? Can it be done in an orderly fashion that edifies everyone participating? All this and more.
