Join us for this FREE Spokes Fighting Strokes adaptive cycling clinic, open to veterans and a family member or caregiver!
Spokes Fighting Strokes is a non-profit organization founded by Dan Zimmerman focused on helping those affected by a wide range of physical and mental disabilities on their journey to rehabilitation by utilizing recumbent trikes. Spokes Fighting Strokes has been touring the United States for four years, providing FREE open recumbent trike riding clinics to stroke survivors, paraplegics, and those affected by neural degenerative diseases like MS, Parkinson's, & Alzheimer's.
In 2005, Dan suffered a life-altering stroke caused by a rare condition called Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). Recovery was long and challenging, but Dan refused to give up. Today, he's not only riding again, but he's helping others reclaim their independence and strength as the founder of Spokes Fighting Strokes, a nonprofit dedicated to showing stroke survivors that recovery is possible.
