Join us for the first annual Spokes & Folks Disability Expo! The River City Rollers are proud to bring this free community event to Indiana University South Bend’s Student Activities Center on Saturday, August 22, from 12:00–5:00 PM.
Spokes & Folks is designed to celebrate inclusion, increase mobility, and connect individuals and families across Michiana with resources, adaptive activities, local organizations, and hands-on support—all completely free of charge.
Whether you use mobility equipment, support someone who does, work in the disability community, or simply want to learn more, this event is for you.
Event highlights include:
• Free wheelchair and walker maintenance, cleaning, and basic support
• Adaptive sports demonstrations and activities, including wheelchair basketball, pickleball, bocce, juggling, and handcycling
• Informational sessions on mobility equipment, vehicle modifications, and grant opportunities
• Opportunities to meet local support groups, service providers, businesses, and community partners
• Research presentations and educational resources for individuals, caregivers, families, and professionals
• And much more for people of all ages and abilities
