Welcome to March's People's Platform's Spoken Word, Open Mic night.PERFORMERS:
As usual, there are LIMITED slots available, 14 in total, and each last up to 5 minutes.
If you would like to share your wonderful work, with the most wonderful audience, please contact us via the usual channels (WhatsApp/messenger/email etc), to secure your slot for this night.
We will also have a reserve list, so if you have missed out on a confirmed slot, please still come along and support your fellow creatives, and if someone drops out, or if we have time at the end of the evening, we will try our very best to squeeze you in.
If during 2026, you do not secure a confirmed slot for any given event but are on our reserve list and do not perform, we will guarantee you a confirmed slot for the next event (presuming you can attend, but we are happy to carry that forward).
To help this work for everyone, please stick to 5 minutes, and if it all runs smoothly, we can maybe revisit this, and squeeze a few more confirmed slots moving forward.
AUDIENCE:
If you are coming along to watch, then you are in for an evening of talented writers, poets and wordsmiths who will entertain you with their thoughts, work and take on life.
A guaranteed evening of thought, love and laughter, with some of this area's awesomely talented artists.
You will also be able to purchase copies of the performers books here as well - cash only please.
