A Girl Of Suffer & Glory’ is a poetic monologue of a black woman’s journey into self-understanding through the discombobulated yet sometimes merging narratives of her adolescent self.
​Paired alongside the poetic dialogue of artist Lena Ngoudjo, is the bustling sounds of producer ladé who creates abstract beats, bringing her sampling of obscure and diverse music to craft immersive, genre-blurring soundscapes.

About Lena:
Lena is a multidisciplinary artist woven by her obsession with undressing the raw beauty of the bare self through the complexities of self-expression and the merging realms intersecting culture and identity. Her craft focuses on untangling Black expression and the strangeness of humanity amongst nature, often juxtaposing the joys and pains of life. Stirring a mixture of Performance, Spoken Word Poetry, and Multimedia art to create multi-sensory experiences that challenge Traditional Western ideology and Contemporary Art forms.
