David Wong Hsien Ming discovered poetry as a child at a Sunday lunch. His work explores the dualities, contradictions and absurdities of being, and has appeared on platforms like PR&TA, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore and Mascara Literary Review. His collected work in print includes For the End Comes Reaching (2015) and blood/work (2026).
Eneida Alcalde (she/her/ella) immigrated to the United States as a child, transplanting her Chilean-Puerto Rican roots. A Pushcart Prize-nominated writer and finalist for The Robert Phillips Chapbook Prize, Eneida is the poetry editor for Oyster River Pages and a reader for Epiphany. Her poetry has recently been featured in Kopi Break, Poet Lore, TAB Journal, and The Best American Poetry series. She draws inspiration from her migrant family and ancestors, her daughter, and the places she has called home—from Valparaíso and Cochabamba to Washington, DC, and Singapore. Eneida’s debut poetry chapbook, The Wealth We Surrendered, is published by Ethel.
