Hosted inside the historic Dunham Arts Center, this event blends storytelling, live theatrical portrayals, and authentic mediumship & live paranormal communication, into an evening designed to educate, intrigue, and emotionally resonate.

The Origins of Spiritualism: When the Dead Were Invited to Speak
The evening begins with a guided narrative journey through the history of Spiritualism.
Guests will be led through key eras of spirit communication, brought to life through live actors and atmospheric storytelling, including:
- Victorian séance rituals and parlor gatherings
- Spirit rappings, table tipping, and automatic writing.
- The rise of fortune telling & mediumship
- Early beliefs surrounding messages from beyond

Live Paranormal Communication Session With Austin Maynard of Underground Paranormal Network
The second half of the evening, guests will learn about ITC communication tools built by Austin Maynard. He will discuss his methods and build strategies then demonstrate. Take part in a live paranormal communication session, exploring real-time interaction methods in a group setting.
This portion of the night is designed to invite curiosity and participation while maintaining a respectful and grounded environment.
Austin Maynard is one of the leading innovators in modern ITC research and a featured headliner for Spiritualism Throughout the Ages. As the founder of the Underground Paranormal Network, Austin has brought together a collective of historic locations, equipment developers, Ghost Box builders, and forward-thinking researchers across Ohio, all focused on advancing the field through collaboration and experimentation.
Since 2017, Austin has dedicated his work to exploring new methods of communication using custom-built audio and video devices, pushing beyond traditional tools to test what’s possible on the edge of ITC. His work has extended into television, where he served as Paranormal Tech Manager on Death Walker, overseeing the equipment and experimental approaches used throughout Seasons 3 and 4.
Today, Austin continues to develop next-generation communication devices in partnership with Jay W Prather through IDC Devices and the IDC Institute.
