Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock is thrilled to invite you to the next session of The Spiritual Shelf: A Spiritual Book Study, a transformative monthly gathering where we explore powerful spiritual texts that elevate our love and vibration. Together, we engage in meaningful discussions, learn from diverse perspectives, and open ourselves to new ways of thinking and being.For the next phase of our book club, we will be diving deeply into Reclaiming Your Inner Child: A Journey of Childhood and Ancestral Healing by Nina Mongendre. After spending the past two months with this powerful and enlightening book, we felt called to slow down and go even deeper—so we’ve decided to continue working with it for the next three months.

April: Creating your Inner Map — understanding your internal landscape and core patterns
May: Exploring Family Constellations — uncovering ancestral influences and inherited dynamics
June: Deepening into Shadow Work and completing the book — integrating and embodying what we’ve learned
Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just starting the book, you are welcome to join at any time. Each session is designed to meet you exactly where you are on your journey.
How we treat our inner child reflects every aspect of our lives—it shapes our habits, our relationships, and our sense of self-worth. When we deny or criticize our vulnerability, we limit our capacity for authenticity and connection. Many of the challenges we see in ourselves and in the world—anxiety, self-doubt, conflict—can be traced back to unmet needs from childhood.
This book gently guides us out of patterns of blame and disempowerment, helping us step beyond the roles of victim, villain, and rescuer. It invites us into a new way of living—one where we become our own guide, meet our own needs, and reclaim our inner wholeness.
Through this work, we journey beyond linear time, revisiting key childhood moments with compassion and awareness, offering ourselves the support we once needed.
