About this Event

Cheers to the women who changed the way we drink!

Drinking history expert Simon Sharp takes you on a journey from the invention of the pub and modern beer, to distillation and champagne – where women have been at the forefront, challenging patriarchy so we can all enjoy a drink.

To illustrate these stories guests will enjoy four cocktails; The Mansplainer, The Poinsettia, Bees Knees, and Hanky Panky – all invented or inspired by these trailblazing ladies, crafted with ingredients sourced from female founded and led businesses.

A tribute to women’s creativity and courage, this tasting celebrates the mark they’ve left on drinking culture.

  • Make a day of it and mooch the Winter Makers Market for unique gift ideas, curated homeware edits, bespoke crafts, tasty treats and more.
