No Charge to view the flags. This is a free event. Donations will be accepted and will be used to support the Mission of Breakfast Exchange Club through our grants to local non-profits. Working together in programs of service to promote Americanism, Youth Activities, Community Service, and the Exchange national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
Experience one of the most inspiring patriotic displays ever presented in Billings as the Breakfast Exchange Club of Billings, in partnership with the National Exchange Club, proudly presents the Spirit of Freedom Field of 1,000 American Flags as part of the nationwide America 250 Initiative commemorating the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.
From July 1 through July 6, 2026, the driving range at the Par 3 Golf Course will be transformed into a breathtaking sea of red, white, and blue, featuring 1,000 American flags standing proudly in tribute to the freedoms we enjoy and the individuals who have helped preserve them.
This powerful display honors the sacrifices, service, and achievements of our nation's veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, community leaders, and everyday heroes. Visitors are invited to walk among the flags, reflect on our nation's history, and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom, unity, and patriotism that defines America.
Each sponsored flag may be dedicated In Memory Of or In Honor Of a special individual who has served our country or community. Every dedication will be recognized with a personalized laminated tag displayed with the flag throughout the event. At the conclusion of the display, sponsors will have the opportunity to take their dedicated flag home as a lasting keepsake.
The Spirit of Freedom Field will also feature a patriotic ceremony with local officials, community gatherings, veteran recognition, and extensive community engagement as part of the America 250 celebration.
The America 250 Initiative celebrates four core values that continue to strengthen our nation:
• Freedom – Honoring the liberties we cherish.
• Family – Strengthening the bonds that unite us.
• Service – Recognizing those who serve our country and communities.

NOTES of INTEREST: The Driving Range at Par 3 will still be open for business. The flags will be forward toward the Club House and the tee boxes for the range will be moved up.
Parking at Par 3 is available, however, if the lot is full, you can park at the baseball park on 19th and Monad, or at Spectrum and walk up.
