SPIRIT BALM Open Mic !!!

Welcome to the newest open mic in the vivacious city of Chicago with one of the most prolific Spoken Word Poetry, Singing and Hip - Hop scenes. Poets, singers, hip-hop artists, business owners and art connoisseurs are welcomed.

This particular set, Spirit Balm Open Mic, is open to any one who seeks to perform. The intention behind this open mic to the create a safe and artistic space of freedom and healing, hence the term "balm"(a fragrant ointment or preparation used to heal or soothe the skin.). This balm is for the spirit. There will be a list that will be present at the open mic to allow guest to sign up to present what they would like.
