Sometimes all it takes is a single moment in the presence of God to change the course of someone’s life. Sometimes at little bit of training and invitation into one new practice can reset the trajectory of a person’s life in Christ. Led by the Spirit and Truth ministry from Dayton, OH (United Seminary), some typical topics covered in a Spirit & Truth Weekend:Attend what you can based on your schedule!
Building a Foundation of Prayer (Making prayer the starting place for all of life)
Cooperating with the Holy Spirit (Learning to hear God’s voice)
Everyday Evangelism (Learning to share your faith right where you live, work and play)
Becoming a Disciple-Maker (Mobilizing every member to participate in the Great Commission)
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Friday Evening:
6:30-8:00p Worship/Training: Cultivating a Hunger for God
Saturday: (breakfast/lunch provided)
9:00-9:30a Morning Prayer/Worship
9:30-12:00p Training: Living a Spirit-Filled Life
12:00-1:00p Lunch
1:00-2:00p Training: Getting Intentional About Sharing Your Faith
2:00-3:00p Prayer Outreach
3:00-3:30 Debrief and Testimonies
6:30-8:00p Closing Worship
Cost is $25 per person and open to any youth or adult. Sessions will be in the Fellowship Hall/contemporary worship space on Friday night and Saturday morning/afternoon (breakfast and lunch provided on Saturday).
