A little about our Spirit & Soul Holiday Leader
The Spirit & Soul holiday leader James Kilbane, is a well know gospel, country and folk singer from Achill Island, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Since 2004 and the ‘You’re a Star’ programme, James has released 13 albums, plus over 30 singles in his music career to date, reaching multi-platinum album sales.
James is well known in particular for his gospel music. James is now a television presenter and holiday leader. James is also qualified with a BA Honours Degree in Heritage and Cultural studies from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. He has extensive training in the heritage, archaeology, culture, folklore, ecology, geography, and the museum tourism field.
James has over 20 years experience working in music and public life which has made him a well-know personality across Ireland and further afield. An important part of James’ work and music is his co-operate with other Christian traditions. James will be your host for this exciting holiday break of Spirit & Soul at the Knock House Hotel.
