Join us for a warm, friendly afternoon where we look back at our year together and co-design what happens next for mental health and learning disability care across Highland.

We’ve kept the day simple and accessible, with three easy parts:

We start with a relaxed lunch — a chance to arrive, settle in, meet others and ease gently into the day. No pressure, no rush.

A short, accessible AGM where we:

• share what we’ve achieved this year
• update on projects, partnerships and governance
• welcome new trustees
• reflect on our growing lived experience community

A quick look back before we move forward together.

We’re also delighted to welcome Dr Patrick Mullery from James Support Group for a short keynote on collaboration, compassion and change.

Then we dive into our punchy, people-powered conference — three fast, focused Conversation Café sessions where your voice shapes our priorities for 2026.

🔹 Promoting Peer Support — Where should peers be, and what would help most?

Tell us where peer support is needed — hospital, CMHTs, the community, the 3rd sector or the workplace — and what peers could actually do to make a difference.

Everything you share will help shape:

• our next Voices in Actions for NHS Highland
• our work with NHS Highland
• our lived experience-led training priorities
• future peer support projects and roles

This is co-design that leads to action — simple, human and meaningful.

People with lived experience, unpaid carers, peer supporters, volunteers, NHS teams, third sector partners — anyone who wants care to feel better, safer and more human.

You can expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space to get comfortable, connect, and take part at your own pace. We’ll have a free lunch and refreshments waiting for you, gentle no-pressure conversations, and accessible activities that you can dip in and out of. Whether you want to share your views or simply listen in, you’ll be part of a supportive space where your voice genuinely helps shape real change.
