OM Tango is hosting a seminar by Baz Arnold, a student of the legendary Carlos Gavito.
Some of the most important movements in tango are almost invisible.
This seminar explores the hidden internal organisation that gives tango its fluidity, balance, and emotional depth – the often invisible qualities that separate experienced dancers from exceptional ones.
Rather than learning more figures, we'll slow tango down and investigate what brings movement to life from within.
Together we'll explore the role of spirals in walking, pivots, ochos, musicality, and partner communication.
Benefits for dancers:
• More ease and less effort
• Greater balance and stability
• Smoother pivots and transitions
• Enhanced musical expression
• Clearer partner communication
• Deeper connection in the embrace
• Tango that feels richer, softer, and more alive
This seminar is an embodied exploration of the hidden movements that transform tango from a sequence of steps into a living conversation.
