The Spillit True Story Film Festival kicks off with an unforgettable opening night hosted by The Dixon Gallery and Gardens. The evening features a special screening of Shine On: The Tom Lee Story, directed by Mateo Servante, alongside the new short film (I’m Not) Your Negroni by acclaimed Mississippi filmmaker Antonio Tarrell.Guests will also enjoy an exclusive sneak preview of a film created in celebration of The Dixon’s 50th anniversary. This one-night-only program brings together powerful storytelling, local voices, and a landmark cultural moment.
