Spilling the Tea: From the Capitol to the Courtroom
About this Event
Before the parties. Before the concerts. Before the weekend gets going.
Come get the tea.
Join Power Coalition for Equity and Justice and our powerful partners for Spilling the Tea, a one-of-a-kind gathering during Essence Festival weekend where culture, community, and conversation come together.
We’re bringing together movement leaders, elected officials, advocates, media voices, faith leaders, and organizers from Louisiana and across the South to break down what’s happening, what’s at stake, and how we can build power together.
Expect real talk, live podcast recordings, DJs, special guests, giveaways, prizes, interactive activations, and opportunities to connect with people shaping the future of our communities.
Whether you’re deeply involved or just trying to stay informed, this is the place to get the information, inspiration, and connections you need before you head out to enjoy the rest of your Essence weekend.
The tea isn’t just what happened. The tea is what we’re going to do about it.
You can attend all day or some of the day, but you don't want to miss this.
Space is limited. Registration is required. RSVP today.
