From Broadway to BET to the Haus — this Essence Weekend, Haus of Fox & Rob becomes the most intimate room in New Orleans.
While 500,000 people pour into the Superdome, a select few will be sitting in a vintage living room on Camp Street with three of the most exciting voices in Black Hollywood — for a real conversation. No velvet ropes. No wristbands. No crowds.
Just craft, culture, and candor, hosted by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Fox Rich and Rob Rich — the creative duo behind Time, Time II: Unfinished Business, and the cultural hub that is Haus of Fox & Rob.
This is the conversation you won't find on any panel stage all weekend.

A moderated conversation with Fox & Rob and our three guests on craft, culture, comedy, second chances, and what it really takes to build a career in Black Hollywood today.
A live Q&A — your chance to ask the questions you've never been able to ask.
A meet & greet with photos, signings, and the kind of access that only happens in a room this small.
A boutique pop-up featuring the curated vintage, fashion, and novelty collection Haus of Fox & Rob is known for.

Fox is the Oscar-nominated director and subject of Time and Time II: Unfinished Business, and a nationally recognized voice on criminal justice reform. Together, Fox & Rob built Haus of Fox & Rob as a New Orleans creative gathering space — and this Essence Weekend, they're opening the doors.

This is an intimate gathering with strictly limited capacity.
The Haus is a small, curated space — seating and standing room is capped to protect the quality of the experience for guests and talent alike. Once we hit capacity, RSVPs close and a waitlist will open.
RSVP secures your spot. Doors open at 1:45 PM sharp. Late arrivals after 2:00 PM may be released to waitlist guests on a first-come basis.
Please be ready to:
- Present your Eventbrite confirmation (digital or printed) at the door.
- Arrive by 1:45 PM to be seated for the conversation.
- Stay through the meet & greet and boutique pop-up — that's where the magic happens.
One RSVP per attendee. This event is 18+.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- 1:45 – 2:20 PM — Doors, welcome refreshments, mingling
- 2:20 – 3:15 PM — Live conversation with the guests + audience Q&A
- 3:15 – 4:00 PM — Meet & greet, photos, signings, and the Haus pop-up
Light refreshments will be served. Dress: come as your most stylish self — this is Essence Weekend, after all, and the photos will be taken.
