Come and spend the day with your favorite Disney characters at our event on Monday Jan 13, 2025 starting at 9:00 AM.

Come join us for a fun-filled morning of exploring the magical world of Pixar! Get ready to immerse yourself in the colorful and imaginative playroom where you can meet your favorite Pixar characters, play games, and create your own intervention masterpieces. Learn how to integrate pop-culture into play and understand how to work with movies and shows to encourage healing and growth in the playroom. These interventions not only work great with children but adolescents and even adults. This event is perfect for play therapists, social workers, and counselors alike.

Stay with us for the second part of the day as we as we delve into the world of Disney to explore the complex emotions of grief and loss in the playroom. This unique event offers a fun and interactive approach to understanding and addressing these challenging topics.

Your instructor will guide participants through various Disney movies and characters, illustrating how these beloved stories can be used as therapeutic tools in the playroom. Through engaging discussions, activities, and case studies, attendees will gain valuable insights into how Disney can help children and adults alike navigate the process of grief and loss. Learn the theories of grief and loss as well as how different cultures and religions recognize grief and loss to help children become more comfortable in the playroom.

All participants will receive a box of supplies to help enhance the learning.
