Celebrate Rochester’s rich German heritage at the longest-running ethnic festival in Monroe County! Now in its 121st year, the FGAS German Fest brings the community together for a lively weekend of tradition, music, and fun. Hosted by the Federation of German-American Societies, this isn’t just an Oktoberfest-inspired event—it’s an authentic cultural celebration led by German-Americans themselves, preserving traditions, music, and customs passed down through generations.
Support your local German singing, dance, language, and cultural groups while immersing yourself in authentic German food, beer, wine, and festive atmosphere. Enjoy live music all weekend, including crowd favorites Die Lustigen Almdudler, plus performances by the Germania Singers and Rochester German Dancers.
