Spelling Bee

The WSE Spelling Bee is an official academic competition and literacy program sponsored by the PTA and Scripps National Spelling Bee. Designed to promote vocabulary development and public speaking confidence, the program gives students in 3rd through 5th grade an opportunity to learn word origins, phonics, and language patterns in a structured, supportive setting.
The single winner of the school wide bee advances to represent the school at a higher level.
All students and parents are welcome to attend the event - we hope you’ll come out to support our Walnut friends!
