Evening all so as discussed on Tuesday evening I have now some good news I have booked a visit to Speke Aerodrome Collection at the old Liverpool airport in the morning of Friday 3rd July , its a small but interesting collection behind the old art deco terminal building which is now a hotel
They also have a Jetstream simulator which can be used for a fee on the day , they are working out the exact costs which I will pass on one i have them
In the afternoon I have arranged a visit to Hooton Park which is near Ellesmere Port , a drive of approx 40 minutes from Speke
Once there we can have lunch in the cafe followed by a guided tour . The approx cost for this is £15 each ( to be confirmed )
I know its a fair drive up there so some may wish to go up the night before
If you are interested let me know asap so I can get an idea of numbers
