What is Speedfriending? Tired of trying to find friends that match your interests and values in random bars or parties? Looking for meaningful connections? Are you new in Copenhagen and want genuine friendships that may last a long time? Look no further! Join us at this upcoming Speedfriending event, where you'll meet a bunch of great people in one exciting and fast-paced event.
Speedfriending is NOT Speeddating :-) This is a strictly platonic event.
Speedfriending is a fun and interactive social event designed to expand your social circle safely and discover many potential friendships in a short amount of time. Each participant will have the opportunity to engage in 3-minute one-on-one conversations with other participants, ensuring you get to meet a diverse group of people in a safe friendly setting. This goes without saying of course, but make sure to show up well-groomed and dress nicely so people will get to see the best version of you .

2) WATER BOTTLE - Making friends is thirsty work: CHECK!
3) BIG SMILE - New friends want to know you won't bite ;-) CHECK!
How it Works: Registration:
Upon arrival, you'll be given an envelope with a number on it , making it easy for everyone to know how to make you their match. In the envelope is a BUDDY CARD which you have to CLEARLY mark with YOUR number in top LEFT corner and a short feedback form.
Before we start, we will do some simple fun connection exercises to help us loosen up and really be ready to meet new people :-)
Speedfriending Rounds: The main event begins! You'll take a seat in one of the rows of chairs across from your first speedfriending buddy. After some instructions, we'll start the first 3-minute timer. Get to know each other, share hobbies, interests, and anything that brings a smile to your face. When you hear the music finish your conversation, put one hand in the air to signal you're ready and scoot over to the next person.
Buddy Cards: Throughout the event, you'll have the chance to mark the number of the people you'd like to connect with on your BUDDYCARD. At the end of the event you'll put your BUDDYCARD and the filled-in FEEDBACK FORM back in the envelope and return it to us. We will do the (terribly) complicated matching and share contact information with the people who both marked each other, after the event. OH, almost forgot, please BRING YOUR OWN PEN! And a drinking bottle, trust me you'll be glad you did.
NB: Please don’t provide or ask for contact details or last names as this breaks the format and puts unwanted pressure on the interaction. If connection is meant to be, we’ll make sure it happens!
About midway through we’ll have a break since meeting so many new great people can be intense.
Afterparty: After the event we'll all go to a nearby bar for a much-deserved drink and celebrate!
