In a digital, fast paced, modern world, sometimes looking for companionship and love can be stifled by challenges. Let us spark some excitement and laughter back into the match making game.
If you have never tried speed dating before, don't worry, it's easy. To join this adventure all you have to do is, be single, be ready to mingle and get ready to have some fun! Speed dating is actually on the rise as more and more people now realise they prefer to meet people the good old fashioned, organic, in-person way. Keeping the pressure low and the conversations light.
So how does a Speed Dating event work?
On the night everyone will arrive, sign in and have their date card and pencil issued. You will have some time to grab a drink from the bar. A quick intro from your host with a reminder of how it all works.
Similar to musical chairs, during Round 1, one half will take their seats and their opposites will begin a quick fire round of ice breakers and chat before a bell will ring and they will move on to the next table. A short break for another round of drinks to quench your thirst. Before the 2nd and final round where we swap over and the seated side becomes the musical chair side!
Completed date cards to be handed back to your host and feel free to stay for another drink. A sweet treat will be given before the journey home. Following on from the Speed Dating event, a message will be sent by email to all attendees. If two speed daters have expressed mutual interest in each other, contact details will be shared on privately.
6.30pm - Arrival, sign in, welcome drink
7.00pm - Speed Dating Round 1
8.00pm - Break
8.15pm - Speed Dating Round 2
9.20pm - Drinks and Mingle
10.00pm Finish
Ticketed Event - Please book 1 ticket only under either Gent or Lady. Your ticket will include a welcome soft drink, name tag/number, date card and sweet treat for the journey home and your chance to match with a significant someone on the night! Details coming soon
